Necro area shop stuffs

While shopping for spells I'd decided to look over the armorer as well as a couple of the other npc's. As an interesting note the only armor being sold are shields which, so far as I know of, necro's cannot use. In addition there's one NPC that sells rations, lanterns, water, and interestingly enough a broom as well as a shovel. My question to everyone here is, since wanlo has no infromation on either the broom or the shovel are there any specific uses of either of these things outside of being used as weapons?


Reguardless since I AM a necromancer I am definatly hanging onto my shovel, I mean c'mon...necromancer, grave digging. Sortof a no brainer.

the Shovel is used for treasure hunts.
I am sure there is a write up some where on the forums.

In S.o.d there are treasure maps, kinda like a little adventure... I love them very much . The shovel is used to dig up mobs and the chest.

In older live you used to be able to get coffins ect in cabbalis, i dont remember the point but it was neat to show off your sexy wood coffin.

As for the shops , its simple , The shields are probably hinted towards lowbie shadowknights (Since u can argue 2 handers suck until 20ish) , as for the general merchant , most people cant access other vendors so it would only make sense to have one there.


I asked the Question of what a shovel did earlier in ooc and got no response , but later i was told that fishing could end up giving treasure maps at higher levels.
