The items i'm referencing are the faction bound versions of:
Azure Fistwraps of Rage
Hand to Hand
14 dmg 19 delay
Effect: Rage of Frost (combat)
Dex: + 15 Agi: + 15
SV cold +20
Crimson Fistwraps of Wrecking
Hand to Hand
14 dmg 19 delay
Effect: Wrecking of the Sun (combat)
Str: +15 Sta: +15
Sv fire +20
Both of these items drop from named mobs in NDHK, and again, are the faction bound versions.
At level 65, monk and bst bare fists are both 13 dmg, 18 delay. Obtaining an item such as Render Fin Gloves (+2 cold damage) Monk starfall +2 fire damage, or the +2 fire dmg gloves from Living Lava (forgot the name,) now makes those fists 13 (+2) / 18, and imo making bare fists + gloves effectivly better than the posted items.
I realize that by using bare fists you do sarifice stats for those slots, and when pulling i'm a big fan of resitss and hp. However, i've never considered using these Fistwraps while pulling as they lack hp, and while the resist are situationally nice, (dam you wiki for not showing me my loot tables) there are better items such as:
Dark Fists of Chilling Ghasts (from Halls of Misery)
Hand to Hand
13 dmg 24 delay
Cold DMG: 5
STR: +8 STA: +6 Dex: +10 AGI: +10 HP: +60
SV All: +10
Hoof of Enragement (Plane of Torment)
1H Blunt
20 dmg 30 delay
AC: +10
STR: +5 STA: +5 HP: +65
SV Cold: +15 SV Magic: +10
WildStrike Bataon (Stormkeep) (NOT faction bound)
1H Blunt
13 dmg 19 delay
Effect: Phantom Strikes (combat)
STR: +10 STA: +10 DEX: +10 AGI: +10 HP +50
SV all: +3
In terms of one handers for pulling, I consider all of these better. And in terms of dps, I see barefists + gloves as better, leaving the fistwraps somewhere in the middle not really filling a useful roll for a monk or bst, which leads me to my request.
First option:
For the faction bound version of the gloves, add 2 fire dmg (for crimson) and 2 cold dmg (for azure) which would make them a better choice for dpsing.
Second option:
Add some hp to both, say 50? making these at least an option for pulling, as the +20 to the reisst with 50 hp would make these nice situational pulling items.
