Naming Policies

Hello all,

is there something in the naming policie that provide us to create character names starting with a K. I have tried many times different names starting with the letter K and it wont accept it.

Well i have looked it up on fomelo and it doesnt seem to be used, unless all of the variants of the name i was trying to have dont show up there !
 
So 3 = "many different" names when 2 of which are in use? The third includes "Kat" and "max", which the filter may be catching since you're not allowed to put 2 words together to make names.

You might try several more names that begin with "K" that aren't in use, and that don't violate the other aspects of the naming policy before deciding that names with "K" aren't allowed by the naming filter.
 
If you look at the names i have put in, i count 5, Karine Karinne Karina Karinna and Katmax. I didn't decide that it wasnt allowed, i asked if there was something with it.
 
That's right.
It refused "Kelval" too, wich is the name I take for all my clerics since I play RPGs. Of course there is no Kelval on the fomelo.
 
I'm not aware of what exactly caused the names to be rejected... But you certainly can use the letter K as I have a Dwarf named Koddorf.

So, I guess the best thing I can suggest is to keep trying new names?... Maybe use some cheap fantasysh shortcuts for originality: replace "i" with "y", throw in a "h" here and there, etc.
