As an aside, sometimes names are nerfed that don't break those policy rules. They fall under the "if it sounds like or resembles anything else" rule that isn't explicitly stated but seems to exist. I didn't argue it because of the "Don't ever argue" stipulation, but I did think nerfing "Solurus" which I was pronouncing (just sharing this because it explains how I was so surprised at the nerf) sahl-YOO-rus. It was nerfed because someone complained that it was too close to Solaris. I guess it has the same number of letters, and the same consonants in the same places... But then, names like Carn (making this up, don't know if one exists) shouldn't exist because it's close to Corn.. or Smogmu because it's too close to smegma.... etc.
I personally like the name I changed Solurus to better than Solurus anyway, but I wanted to point out that it seems somewhat often names are nerfed not by any reason listed in the policy, and you can either PM/Email and admin if you feel you were wronged, or just accept it. As I said, I wasn't attached to the name and like the new one better, so I just accepted it... and in the cases above, yeah, it's pretty obvious they were being retarded about the whole thing.
As I said before, I'll put up with having strict rules and not getting exactly what I want, since it keeps me from seeing "Hoppalong Frogidy" or some stupid crap like that.
