Nabhan's Edge

In case some of you may be unaware the Nabhan's Edge is a reward in PoFire for turning in the Claw of the God Fiend to Captain of the Gate, Nabham.

What I am wondering is why the Nabham's Edge is so much worse of a ratio when compared not just to the Claw but to other weapons in the same Tier Range. Now I know that h2h weapons need to have higher ratios because of monk innate h2h ratios but let me put this into perspective real quick.

There are almost certainly more weapons than this but here are just a hand full of examples.

Claw of the God Fiend has a 0.9091 ratio plus Bane DMG.
Flamestrike Mace has a 0.8519 ratio plus Proc.
Dagger of the Chosen has a 0.8333 ratio plus Proc.
Longblade of Phantasmal Frost has a 0.8261 ratio and Cold DMG and Proc.

Compared to:

Nabhan's Edge with a 0.8 ratio plus Bane DMG.

It just seems to me that the Nabhan's Edge is lacking compared to some of its counterparts and especially when compared to the Claw. Dropping a full 0.1 ratio for some cold resists and +5 1hs does not seem reasonable to me but then again thats just my opinion. Is there cause enough for this to be looked into? Could the sword to be slightly upgraded so it is at least on par with other similar weapons?

PPS; To my knowledge there is no way to turn the Sword back to the Claw, maybe I'm wrong?

I don't know why you aren't treating Nabhan's Edge as a 13/15 situational. Once you treat it as a 13/15, it is better ratiowise than the mace and the dagger and nearly as good as the Longblade IF you assume that the cold damage is never resisted (which is unreasonable). Basically if you are fighting humanoids, Nabhan's would be my choice

I also see a h2h nerf in the future

True but if you factor in the +1 Humanoid the the Claw it becomes like 0.9545 ratio in situations. I guess my point is that the Claw is better at all times, even without the Bane Damage, compared to the Sword with the Bane Damage.

Oh god what have I done. :psyduck:

So I mean really this is about the claw vs. sword, and the claw probably shouldn't be that good in the first place...

It just seems odd to me that for such a difficult weapon to obtain, and only after turning in the superior ratio Claw for it, that the reward is only sometimes in certain situations as good as much easier to get weapons in the same tier range.
