I turned in the text she asks for and it updated the journal, but the dialog option doesn't pop up.

Journal says "I found Kalunepe's missing page, and brought it back to her. I should ask her about what it says."

Anyone know dialog to continue without /cmd d# showing up?

What does the journal entry say. If there is no /cm d# text then the journal entry probably gives you a hint regarding what text will trigger her dialogue.

I quoted the journal text in first post. Tried several different ways of asking what it said.

That happened to me too. Luckily i got the dialogue from someone doing the quest at the same time: "An undead Gruplok was clutching it..."

Added hail code so you can continue this quest from where you left off at this point. If you stopped at the previous step and forgot there was no way to get the dialog option to pop back up.
