Murk Port Clarification

So, I was just gropued and was told that even though everyone in the group has done hates fury, i'm not allowed to use Murk port and evac, since someone in the group hadn't done Murk faction. Is this correct?

Not to rain in your parade Tarutao, but wouldn't it be much easier to just increase the aggro range of the guards a tad and/or make them actually face the portin, instead of making such a hard-to police rule?

EDIT: asking this in parts cause it is incredibly annoying to have to ask people every time if they are KoS or not, for I somehow forsee that the porter is the one who would get policed here. making the whole thing impossible by design would likely reduce headaces for both staff and players.

Not to rain in your parade Tarutao, but wouldn't it be much easier to just increase the aggro range of the guards a tad and/or make them actually face the portin, instead of making such a hard-to police rule?

If the solution was this easy, it would have been put in without saying anything, and this whole conversation would be unnecessary.

When a solution is found, it will be put in without warning, and people will be slaughtered by the guards, and it will be funny, and when they complain, even the level 30s in OOC will be glad to tell them what they did wrong.

Maybe I miss something, but isn't this supposed to be the same deal as refuge port, just with the difference that it actually works as intended there? Couldn't that solution simply be transplanted?
