okay so the addition of gruplok rods being changed to raid wide, I've got to bring this up again...

clerics remain the only class who have the incredibly tedious task of individually casting DB and beads on every single person in the group or raid, over and over, until the end of time.

raid forms, I have to bead/db my entire group. DB has a long cast time, 15 sec cooldown and this process takes a few minutes. beads also has a 6 sec cast time and 5 sec cooldown. every wipe, I have to re-DB the entire group and ASK who needs beads and individually cast them on that person? why? what is the point of this? I understand you want it to cost something since you can (and often do) re-cast them mid-fight, so why not make group beads 2000 mana or something? at the very least, remove the recast time, which literally exist for no reason other than to waste our time.

there's a lot of discussion wondering why people dont enjoy playing clerics, yet things like this remain in the game. i personally find this DB/beads mini-game to be without a doubt the most annoying part of playing a cleric.
 
I too play a cleric at the end game level (tier nine) and support this change. The only thing worse about playing a cleric is knowing eisley is one too.
 
I completely support this change. I'm kinda surprised/confused as to why this hasn't already been done.
 
Yeah, the murk beads should for sure be a raidwide spell. Poor clerics..... (I know there was a lot of raids where Eis was our only cleric with the spell and more or less everyone wanted a bead... I didnt envy him a bit..)
 
At the very least the recast of these spells should be reduced considerably if not maid group/raidwide.
 
It was said that both of these were going to be changed awhile back, but I guess someone got busy!
 
murk beads are really good so if they go raidwide they are going to be nerfed down a lot ok

Pretty sure Zaela was referring to the Cleric having their spell gems greyed out for a time after casting to prevent abuse in combat.
 
woldaff tells me murk beads were never intended to scale up with tomes focuses etc but there was no support for that when the spell was made; next patch they will be 200 more base but less scaling

When you say less scaling do you mean no scaling from tomes/focuses or that you just get less of a benefit?
 
Not sure on the final outcome of these, but will they be raid/group wide? Or will they have a faster recast, or same recast? Or is only the base heal/how it heals going to be changed?
 
welp, never have to do healing crit tomes now, suck it lleoc!!

cc pants, heal pot, vah banner heals as well as my robe proc heals idk still worth it. Just kind of weak beads no longer will scale with healing inc and such as i like to abuse these while pulling mobs that blink on you or summon and hit very hard. Can't win them all!
 
I Like murk beads the way they are tbh. what im hearing is just laziness on recasting them on single targets. Not everyone uses them so if it involves changing the heal amounts or casting costs and/or spell gem refresh to save targeting someone in raid im opposed to it . Give the higher tier raiders a raid wide questable version maybe if they want to dumby the game down some more but dont change the single target beads please !

As for DB I dont think thats broken either most players dont have room for 30% chance ch heal on buff boards and it really only needed on the main tank and offtanks. I Also foresee some abuse with a raidwide DB with 3 clerics in raid and also murk beads for that matter if its made raidwide.

If its not broken dont fix it !

There's a difference between being lazy and doing it anyway and hating it/it being unfun to do every attempt of a boss ever.
