mss32.dll?

I believe I ended up installing and patching 6 times total yesterday and everytime I would try and run eqgame.exe it would say it couldn't find mss32.dll. Even though that file was in the folder.
I installed the game and expansions,patched to live,put in files.exe and spells.exe
But it still gave me that message every time... Any idea whats up?

I'm hoping your just mistaken the extention of .EXE.. but if not, just make sure you download the ZIP file here...

Patch to Live one last time.. to start from scratch.. then do the following.

Right click on the downloaded file and "EXTRACT FILES..." a box will open click NEXT.. then make sure the path shows your EQ folder.. click OK and you will likely get a box that asks you if you want to REPLACE exhisting files.. click "YES TO ALL" and your just about done..

From here there are a few ways to launch and play SoD.. the easiest IMO is.. Open your EQ folder again, and find a folder called EQW.. open that and double click on EQW.exe.. it will likely ask you to find your EQgame.exe files.. just make sure the path goes back to your EQ folder where EQGAME.EXE is.. and finaly **this is important** make sure before you "START EQ" the box at the bottom is UNCHECKED to "Run Patch Program".. the next thing you see should be the EULA with "I ACCEPT" and "DECLINE"..

If the screen size isn't right.. just adjust your display size once your ingame. Any trouble, post here.. someone will help ya.. or I'll check in the early AM..
