Is there a definite solution to the mss32.dll problem? I've tried to get 3 friends started on SoD and they're all getting the error. I've searched the forums, but there's no confirmation from others of the solutions working, and I'm a bit hesitant to tell them to begin deleting files out of their folder from the one more convincing solution I found. They all run Windows XP if there's any connection with that.

I had the same issue when I just downloaded the SoD patcher. What you need to do is acquire EverQuest Triliogy, patch it up like stated in the fresh install thread, and then run the patcher afterward. That fixed the issue for me when I tried to take the lazy man's way out.
