Move cult chat into a less used channel?

any chance you can change the cult speak to a less used form of chat (such as emotes etc) other than guild? This would be nice for being able to put it in its own window or mute it if nesecarry as well as changing its colors

Even if we could change the color that would be something to distiguish it from regular guild traffic. Perhaps a color could be hard-coded into the text string?

Why not put *cult* into the /yell channel?
/shout is only zone wide ...

Speaking from pure tech geek ignorance here -- correct me if I'm wrong-- but I think that the problem lies in the fact that:
1) channels are broke/unreliable ... hence [Cult] being tied in with Guild chat
2) the [Cult] is hard coded into Guild chat (making it impossible to split the two color wise).

Not /shout, /yell. It's a little-used command that alerts players near you to where you are.

Aye, /yell was used alot in my live guild during raids so when you got an order like "Healers follow me" they would /yell a few times so your not searching through 50 people for that person.

I'm a retard when it comes to programing but is there a way you can make another command like what was done with /ooc to make it a secure serverwide chat command. Like copy the programing for /auction and change it to /cult and make a new channel?

/yell would seem feasible since it appears channels can be turned on/off for server wide (/ooc, /auction). I doubt many people even know /yell exists.
