I have searched the forums and tried everything that ppl have said to no avail.......when i use my mouse to look around it goes super slow from left to right and really fast up and down........i tried putting vsync=1 in the eqlient.ini........downloaded eqplaynice and that doesnt work.......bound my processors and that didnt work..........the only thing that works is keeping my screen in fullscreen mode but i two box and it is a pain when i have to alt+enter after i switch characters everytime........i mean its nothing thats gonna stop me from playing....it is just annoying as hell......anyone have a workign fix for it? i saw places on emu sites that say to lower your max frame rates from 100 to around 40-60 but there is no option to do it........any ideas?

If you find a solution that isn't among those you listed as not helping, please share with the rest of class. I'd like to know also.

I did a little test and it did the same thign on the p1999 server a few mins ago.........mouse real slow left and right but fast up and down.........but i was able to choose my max frames per second down to liek 50 and it ran smoothly........but our ui doesnt have it.........i htink that is the fix now im just wondering how we could do it without being able to chaneg it under options

I've just recently come back and have been experiencing this problem as well.

A few things I've tried:

Including lines of code into the .ini
VSync=1
MaxFPS=60

And neither of them did anything.
...
Fiddled with the mouse drivers and settings through Windows. No luck.
...
Tried different resolutions without any luck.
...
EQPlayNice had no effect
...

Only thing that has worked for me is to disable EQW in the patcher and play in full screen mode. Mouse works perfectly like this.

Ok let me start with the basics, list out your system with OS and version of EQ loaded. I will try to help you the best I can with the information you provide.

This is one of the things that EQPlayNice is supposed to fix, and for me, it does fix exactly this. I am more interested in why it's not working for you guys. Some things you can try are:

1) Disable Triple Buffering from your video card control panel

2) Disable mouse acceleration from your mouse settings in either windows control panel or if you have mouse drivers active (like Logitech etc), do it in there.
