I've read through the forums a couple of time and tried a few solutions to my issue, but none have worked :/. My mouse is very laggy and jumpy when i run SoD. I have no issues on any of the other EQEmu servers, however. I also have strange graphic lag when turning my character.
I run Windows XP in bootcamp on a MacBook Pro 13inch, 2009. I had this same issue when trying to run EQMac, everything was kind of laggy. It seems like SoD uses the same UI and such as EQMac did and i'm wondering if somehow that is related. I am also running the Titanium client, but as i said i have none of these issues running EQ on any of the other EQEmu servers :/.
I tried increasing mouse speed by using /mouse 1, 2, 3, etc. This made the mouse speed up but it was still very jumpy and would move slowly. Also, when trying to run EQwindows the mouse is extremely laggy, but also graphics seem to go slow motion. I tried using EQPlaynice, but it didn't change anything. I don't have this issue running EQ in fullscreen though, but was planning on boxing. I read a bit about Speedstep, but i'm not entirely sure how to go about trying to disable that in Windows XP on a Macbook. I also changed my power settings to Always On and also tried Home/Office.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated
