Now that in combat and out of combat medding has been "corrected" would it be now possible to add mounts to the game? IIRC that was one of the main reasons that they were not added.
 
One of the main things I don't like about mounts is that it forces you to use Luclin models.

technically it never used to (and very well may not here either, since SoD's client is so old).. on live you used to be able to summon a mount while in classic/velious models, and the mount would be invisible to you and you could duck, run, etc like normal but still get the medding benefits of a horse, it was basically just a buff
 
I do realize in order to see the horse you need to use the new models. For those who didnt to use the new models you wouldnt have to buy the mount. The mount of course would be just faster than Run 3 and offer none of the medding benefits it did on live. So it would be merely for looks and the slightly faster run speed.
