More Shields

Shields seem to be very very scarce in SoD.

The Rathide shield I got out of the sewers of newport was all I had for shields until my late mid 30s until I was able to complete the Paladin Starfall Shield quest. I now sit at 56 still with that starfall quest shield. To date the only shields that I have ever seen come up for sale are.

Auction 1 time...Sand blasted Shield AC 15 +3 sta +15 vs Fire
Auction 3 times...Froglok Skin shield AC 10 +25 hps +8 vs Disease
Never Auction found msyelf....Rathide Shield AC 12 + 12 hps
Auctioned 50+ times... for 7-10k.. not a big help...Shield of Freeport (not even going to bother)
Auctioned 1 time..for 6k...A Shadowknight only shield with stats up there with the freeport shield
Half dozen times...2 Int Caster only shields
Auctioned 1 time...Guardian Shield AC 15 +6 wis

As I have traveled to many different zones to find new areas and loot and this is all I have come across seems to be there is a serious lack of shields at all level ranges. For Classes like Paladin and Shadowknights this is a major problem. Wis caster also have a bit of a problem here but with many secondary items avaiblity not as big of a deal as missing shields for SKs/Pals.

I feel really silly and out dated pulling out my Soulfire and then pulling out my old Shield from a quest you can complete in your mid to upper 20s :( Because there is nothing out there to replace it.

So more shields please!! for all level ranges.
 
I agree with this there arn't alot of mid/low level shields a shield u can look into is.

There's also the quested Obsidian Tower Shield (fomelo Grug) but yes there are gaps for shields in certain level ranges.

Looking at those other shields you mention theres definitly a whole in the 30+ level range for shields (prehaps not in the 60+ level as I haven't hit that).

Disease guard is rather... craptastic for the level of mob you get it off.

If you compare this to the obsidian tower shield I mentioned, which is a lvl 35 or under quest there's no real upgrade, and from what I can remember Dreadfang 1st floor is around...45-50'ish at least?
I think he's simply wanting a steadier upgrade path for shields, all these shields linked have been practically the same stat wise until you get to the higher end shields.

Correct.. everyone one of these shield is basicly in the same ball park with just mixed around stats. Your basic low level shields are the Rathide and Froglok skin.. from ther it looks like you get 5 shields ranging from mid 20s to mid 40 all with basicly the same stats. So far it seems no shields inthe 50s as the only ones I have seen are what I would consider 60+ level to even try getting one by buying or questing for.

Definitly need more shields!!
 
ghastly shield from a greater ghast in elds is another, 30 ac and stats that i dont' remember
 
i agree with the need for a few more shields... with ac @ 35-50 range. that do not need a 18 person raid force to get to.
