More classes for the races.

Would it be possible to maybe make it so each race gets more classes. I mean if it is a roleplaying game, you should be able to choose what you wanna do. I know it would be hard to have a guild and quests for every class in every city, but maybe just adding a few. Especially with monks. What if people want to be a monk, but dont like humans or iksars.

:)

Yes this is a role playing game. Your taking on the role of a character in the world of Dalaya. In the world of Dalaya, only Humans and Iksar go onto become Monks. If this were a giant MMORPG "sandbox" then sure. But its not :)

It isn't possible, from my understanding, to allow the races to be classes that aren't already programmed in due to clientside restrictions.

Then they're pretty fucked.

What about the extra races/classes which were later added into Live (eg. Frogluk rogue)

Client restrictions. We COULD add them via quest scripts, but that's hacky, and we don't do hacky. End of story.

Just ask a high level enchanter to Soulbond a Permanent Illusion on you. :D

I've used it on a couple of my characters for the fun of it.

LIZARD WIZARD!

That's...pretty brilliant, if simple, actually. I tip my hat to you.

Yeah, Xane and his wizard in my guild are an Iksar mage/wizzie via sb perma illusion. I only know they're high elves because of corpses. Also, thereare unique race characters in extremely special circumstances. Namely, the gnomish bard and now retired dark elven ranger.

Would it be possible to get an NPC in an secluded tower somewhere that will cast soulbonded perma illusion on you after completion of a quest?

Yes, but we're never gonna add anything like that because it's stupid.

Essentially guys, no. Please just...don't ask. We don't want troll monks, gnome shamans or iksar paladins, and that's just that.
