Monk style level 10 one

Duron

Dalayan Beginner
I like this style. At level 10 - 17 i could have it up all the time and my stamina would never go down. Once I got into the 20s i have it up for 3 or 4 minutes and my stamina is totally drained. Something is wrong with the sliding scale. It needs to slides slower.

while i cannot comment on your level, i can tell you that come level 50's, grouped, with buffs, you will run out of endurance in about 15-20 minutes, assuming you are non stop swinging. this is assuming you have endurance regen buffs on you.

depends

depends upon your style too, as a monk if I use Flurry or Transc I lose my stamina after about one battle.

This style actually used to use much less stamina, to the point where you could switch between the proc and flurry endlessly. Flurry lasted for a few fights, and after that you could regen it stamina via switching to proc. In essence, you could keep up a style permanently.

Now as for your concerns, at level 65 with about 200 stamina I can keep it up endlessly, or there abouts anyway. Probably lose about 1 stamina per fight. Actually you know what, I don't even really know because our 15'th style is located next to FD so while pulling I tend to hit it a few times. This of course drains my stamina and then yeah.. anyway, it lasts a long time.

Also, if you're not tanking I suggest using your offensive style over the proc, or at least use the offensive one to gain your stamina back, then switch to the proc.

I've noticed this as well. I'm 34 now and I this is the style I primary use. When soloing, I have to switch to one of the base styles after each fight or two (while bandaging), or else I'll eventually run out of stamina. Sometimes I forgot to switch until I suddenly notice that most of the bar is gone.

This might just be because my stats are so low, but when I first got the style I never had this problem.

Oh, do you guys keep up invigor or other stamina regeneration type spells? I forgot that I have Sihala's on permanently while fighting. :/

I've been solo pretty 95% of the time so far, so I don't have any buffs up. As long as I'm not fighting one mob after another non-stop (or just forget to switch during downtime) it's not a big issue. I just have to remember to switch styles after a mob dies, and switch back on the next engage.

It's just an observation that during earlier levels I didn't have to bother with switching, or at least not to this extent.

dude, defensive while pulling, or even Transcendent if you have the sta.

umm.. the lvl 15 stance is the one where no mob gets the bonus of being behind you... IMO, that is many times better when pulling.. sense you have your back to the mob your pulling

about the level 10 styles though.. It makes sense that they use more STA as you get higher.. considering they do more dmg.

Then again, shouldn't the pool/regen become larger as you become stronger to compensate? Certain spells scale their damage/effectiveness with level, but don't cost additional mana as they scale.

Speaking relatively, the procs at level 10 are insanely more powerful than at level 40. At the low levels the procs were huge sources of damage when they went off. The procs could turn the tide of battle in a heartbeat.

At 40, it's like landing an extra attack or two. Even though the damage increases, mob HP scale at a much faster rate. So at levels 10-20 the style uses much less stamina and is much more powerful relative to the NPCs. Perhaps this is by design.
