Monk FD exp penalty/pulling question

I notice I get an exp penalty sometimes when I FD during fights, can someone tell me why this happens, and how to avoid it? Thank

*And also, can someone tell me what wall FD pulling is? I know that sometimes mobs appear to be running into a wall and I assume this was just some kind of bug, as they were really somewhere past the wall, which can allow you to safely pull a mob that isn't running into the wall sometimes, so is that what wall pulling is? Thanks

If you damage a mob and get aggro then feign so the tank can get it back, you get a penalty. It's there to prevent power leveling. You have to fd or stop hitting the mob prior to pulling aggro to prevent it.

Wall pulling is using a wall to screen a pull. Basically, mobs can't "see" through most walls. So you pull a group of three and one pops through a wall or through an open doorway. It gets tagged and your group fights it. The other pulled mobs won't see this and will reset if you stay fd. Any mob which can "see" the tagger's action will come though.

There are places where there are "no walls", but i wouldn't worry about it yet.
