Mithril Ore

I can only assume he's killing the right ones. People from our guild who did Ytraz have told him both where to go, and or led him there. I've been at the helm for five hours while he was away, and saw no ore. That of course was the Rogue dwarfs in Thurg. Since then, he's moved on to the Miner's in the caves located in the right hand bottom corner of Great Divide. Still no ore, and that's pushing two hours, give or take. Naturally the Rogue's would be the best as there's no faction hit, but they don't seem to carry much Mithril ore.

I've been mostly killing the Rogue dwarf miners as they don't give a negative dwarf faction hit. I am KoS to regular dwarves now, though, just because I wanted to try something different. As I've mentioned, I've literally been camping the rogue dwarves for two weeks or more. I have every other piece (out of the original 10) for the quest, except for the ore.
Oh, I've farmed the rogue miners for over 500pp and that's not from selling the regular ore, since I've just stopped lotting them as they're too heavy and take up too much room.

That's where I was getting money from spells, before you started permacamping the spot! ;(
Anyway, I wish you good luck; long camps really, really suck.
A SK with HT KS'd twice my Stormfeather drop, and I also did the Observer camp in Chardok for the halfling mask (On Live, of course).
The Observer was 20 minute repops: 129 ph and 30 nameds later I looted my mask, I made enough money from the common drops to buy Funeral Pyre and the level 65 pet for my Necro.
This obviously was done over a number of weeks, a bit at a time. Hope that by the time you read this you will have obtained your drop!

Meah, I spent the night raiding with the guild. It's more entertaining than killing 11 miners every 15 minutes or however long the spawn time is. I've actually come to terms that it will never drop and me having Ytraz was just never meant to be.

127 hours solid camping Grimrot on live for Aegis of Life. I never slept. Sometime during hour 128 I fell asleep and went LD, hour 129 he spawned and a friend logged me in to loot ;( to this day, I've never even seen what he looks like. I feel your pain, venting helps, but a change of scenery can sometimes help more for a few hours. And maybe helping others while you are there for some good karma.

I've talked to a few people and they too, have had no luck with mithril ore. It's seriously on the loot table? Like, no joke, right?
Rogue Dwarf Miners in Thurgadin. They're either male or female and generally weild a pick axe. There's 10 at a branch right when you go into the mines and then at the left branch there's 1 single spawn, making 11 in total. Those are the ones I've been killing repeatedly.
