mistswood still broken?

anyways, yea its really broken, but is not the 1st time, it happened many times...

some of the thing that happen:

-annimantions are shown (hit, death, etc...)
-messeges dont appear (damage, faction, etc...)
-is like if you hadnt a pet (if you have one) and if you want to summon another it tells that you have one allready
-because of animations not being shown, you cant loot the corpeses
 
well instead of me having to reload the game i thought someone might be runing windows mode and be on the forums i posted that before i had to leave dick

i didnt say i was staying at the forum unlike you i have other responsiblities to take care of do you? or do you sit here all day looking for people to insult on a forum to make your life seem worth living
 
Elrisa: When that happens, petition and a GM will reset the zone for you. Otherwise, it won't go away.

Edit Wait I just watched episode 10... I could have sworn I had allready watched episode 10. I guess I didn't though. That shit was pretty cool. Frustrating though, I want them to finish!
 
Actually, the whole time ive been ingame playing both my characters and running a raid of 40 people. It takes very little time to check and read these forums. Actually, it probably takes more time than you logging onto mistwoods.

As for me being a jerk, well, I was just offended that you wasted 15 seconds of my life reading a post. I mean, you wouldnt waste 30 seconds, but were willing to make sure the 30 people that viewed this thread wasted 15 of theirs.

Anyway, normally Im really not a jerk, just maybe your post caught me at the wrong time. Or maybe I am.
 
Slightly off topic, but you.. BongResiN, should change your avatar. A 300kb animated gif is just retarded, and a slap in the face for those unfortunate enough to be on regular dialup and/or pay for their bandwidth.

I found this on one of their website links regarding to the rest of the episodes that were unfinised: Dear Ninjai Fans,

Many of you have been waiting patiently for Chapters 11-14 and we greatly appreciate that. You’ve been asking when these new chapters are going to come out, but to be honest we don’t know exactly when they’re going to come out because we don’t know how long it will take us to finish them. We are doing our best.

If you’ve been coming here you’ve probably noticed that we used to have a notice on our front page seeking animators which said that we could even pay them a little bit of money. But unfortunately that ended up just being a waste of time because we had to spend time going through all these different flash animators, none of which ended up being suitable for Ninjai. We realized it would have taken us more time to try to re-train some of these animators in the Ninjai style than it would be to keep plugging away at it ourselves. We even tried going to traditional animators and went through tons of countless traditional animators’ work, many of which were very good, but the main problem with that is that they were all so expensive—way beyond what we’ve got. We even looked into hiring independent animation studios to help us get these chapters created as quickly as possible, but they charge between $8,000 a minute (some unknown studio in Argentina) to $30,000 a minute.

For those of you who emailed us or posted on the forums that you think we don’t care about our fans and that we’re just letting people hang, etc. that’s as far from the truth as you can get. The fact is, we feel very badly that it has taken us this long. But feeling bad doesn’t make us work any faster; it just gives us more stress and makes life for us more of a bummer. And being on a bummer doesn’t make you work any better or any harder.

Those of you who said that Chapter 11 must be finished by now, actually, Chapter 11 is almost finished, but we don’t want to release Chapter 11 and then have two more months pass before we can put Chapter 12 up, etc. We want to be able to release the four chapters we’re working on with hopefully no more than a 30 day separation between each one. Maybe you’ll disagree with our strategy, but this is how we feel the most comfortable doing it, so that’s what we’re going to do.

If you feel you’re wasting your time having to check to see if we have a new chapter up, sign up for our newsletter so we can notify you when they’re up, that way you won’t need to come here unnecessarily.

As far as some of the people who’ve been bitching about it and getting on our case, we can only respond, if you’re serious about seeing the chapters come out more quickly, then why don’t you help instead of just bitching. Help us find flash animators who we don’t need to waste our time training and who don’t charge us way more money then we can afford.
 
Tip for all new players, when you start out the game start out an alt as well and keep them in erudin, if you ever find yourself in the position where Mistwoods goes down and you are unable to login there, log onto your alt and petition for a zone restart of Mistwoods.. should get answered quickly enough if there is a GM on.

You clueless inconsiderate feeb. You take time to browse the forums, click a link, read the thing, reply not once but twice, and then have the gall to say "thank you for wasting my time". YOU made the choice. YOU were rude. YOU lied when you said "You are right, I was rude" as you then proceeded to insult her again.

And SHE was right. Most people have more time out-of-game, along with responsibilities that require them to stay out sometimes. I guess you have no such responsibilities or any other priorities outside the emu.

You could learn a little more maturity and consideration of other folks and your life as well as others would be a lot better off.

Then you come along, days later, to a post that doesn't involve you in any which way whatsoever and make a provocative personal attack against someone who you obviously have something against. That is what I would call immature, that is what I would call inconsiderate, both to the people who browse these boards and to both of your subjects, as you're attempting to ressurect a brief and pointless misunderstanding that I'm sure both would rather forget about.

Stay out of other peoples' arguments.
 
Speaking of the mistwoods is there a fix for them in the works? It's really time consuming to be disconnected the moment I get into them and have to load a character to petition them to be reset and then log back into my character again. My computer takes about 10-15 minutes to connect to any zone and yeah. Ok I started rambling, the question was just is there a plan to fix them?
 
It was both timely and on-topic for me, since I had just seen Khalid and company perform this same sort of self-serving, run-over-others kind of approach and I thought it best to have folks give it some thought.

You may disagree, not having all the facts, but I was not out of line.

Oh and it was like 24 hours later, in the wee hours of the morning. Hardly "days later".
