(note: When patcher first runs, it only gets original EQ. You then need to select expantions and rerun patcher. I suggest letting it run during the day, then running it again at night even with broadband.)

downloading a little over 3 Gigs of data sucks.. even on broadband. I would suggest asking a friend to just burn a DVD of his/her EQ folder then just drop that anywhere on your computer.. make your shortcuts and your done. If you can't burn a DVD.. Cross-over cable or a switch does wonders.

Bah did the download style on both PC's here as was too lazy to go up into storage area and dig out cd's again .. didn't take that long at all.

Is there any "alternative" version / method to the EQ patcher?
Been downloading for 41.5 hours, got something like 10-14 hours to go.
after installing from original release CD's. on broadband. ports Are checked. the chiken Is being waved.
