Missing Sounds?

I get the sounds of humans dying and when I jump but not environment or spells being cast.
I have a 2011 EQ sounds folder so I guess some sounds were removed/changed in EQ perhaps?

Is this in all zones? Specific Zones? do you have your sound settings all up?

In all zones, all sound options are on at login options and in game.

are you running Vista/window's 7? if so are you running it as admin?

Ok to fix your sound problem, before you log into the game there is an option menu you can access. Its on the page before u get to the acct/pw entering part, click on options. The page after the new character model uses you will see a sound option on the top left, make sure this option has a red arrow next to it. Log in and it should work.

sound is enabled there already. every sound option is at 100% and enabled. So I guess im missing files some how? even though i have a 2011 sound folder from real EQ?

Possibly because you have a 2011 sound folder from retail. Which game install are you using?
