Missing Character

I logged in today and my character Oish was gone. I had eight blank "create new character" slots and a human named Newbie was on the screen. Is there any way to get Oish back?

This just happens from time to time when something doesn't synch right. Just close the client and load it again and your character(s) should be there.
 
Do you have more than one computer with SoD on it? Try the other one. I was trying to get on through my wireless once when I was in a low signal area of my house and while I got connected none of my characters were there. But when I tried another computer it worked fine so like Eldorath said it seems to just be when something doesnt sync up correctly.
 
happened to me like twice before. i just went to create new char, put in my chars name and then pu in the points, finish up...and then it says like "name rejected va'shir not allowed blah vlah" and go back to char select and my chars are all there.
