Minor Seggustions

I have a few minor requests:

1. I just started playing my Frog Shaman, Lurath. I was hunting the newbie critters around Twilight Sea and one dropped a spear called: Tel`Fii , but to my supprise, just about everything but Shaman can use it, event he pure int casters. Is this a bug, or intended. :?

2. Is it possible to code so arrows can stack to 99 instead of 20? Probably wont be possible since nothing stacks above 20.

3. Possibly increase some craftable drops like silks, hides, bones. etc.[/url]
 
1) It appears that it is designed to be non-usable by priest classes (CLE, DRU, SHM).

Well druids and clerics can't use piercing but those others can. Also no monk or paladin either. Makes sense for monks, since they don't get piercing. Paladin generally only uses 2hp, but I think occasionally has some 1hp. Looks more like an oversight.
 
I know that a dagger and spear are dropped by those mobs. I have screen shots at home of both. The stats on this seem more like a spear to me than a dagger and I would think a spear should be SHM usable if it is in fact the spear.

Of course, I have heard/seen various items in game that look like one type of weapon skill but akin to another (1HB Torch that is actually a 1HS, etc) - so it is possible this is along those lines as well.
 
It's a spear you hold near the point, therefore acting as a dagger. All the classes listed can use daggers. That's all there is to it.

Case Closed on item 1. On to point two:

2. Thats a heck of a lot of arrows. It would save alot of storage space, but it you likely still cant carry too much without weight reduction bags:

lightest arrow = .1 weight
current stack = 2 weight per stack
99per stack = 9.9 weight per stack (thats pretty hefty)

It just doesnt seem feesible to adjust.

It would appear not. The most basic dagger has the same Class restrictions as the above item. So while it looks like spear - it is treated as a dagger because of how it is used (as mentioned above).

Item weights don't stack. 1 arrow = .1 weight, 20 arrows(stack, as long as they're all in one)= .1 weight.

Well thats just craziness. Be cool if thats the case - i might have to go mess with this tonight. If thats the case - then cool - rangers can carry a near limitless supply of arrows - they just have to find the money to afford them or the time to summon them.

I think I missed whatever point you're making. :)

If Gronuth is using that as a 1hp then he's a mighty mighty ogre indeed...
 
i just noticed you mention that pal/sk were very 2hand piercy, and i said to look at the gron's wanelo ;) that's a very nice 1hp. and when you gotta mt, you wont touch the 2handers..they are teh tame..

What I meant initially is that although paladins get some 1hp's, they generally have more 2hp's....at least on EQL they did. Which doesn't apply here, I know. :)

I didn't mean to imply that PAL/SHD were more inclined to use piercing weapons over anything else though. :)
 
oh no chum, id idn't think you meant that in the least :p though when it comes to piercing, yah we did tend to use 2hpierce.. they were so fun!! and easy to get :) but with the 2hander on you cant see his mighty grimbalde :)
 
Tel`Fii/Tel`Va's classes have been properly adjusted.

100 stackable thing is technically doable, but only by working around the client a lot. In other words: No.
