Minimize wineq problems

I cant get the game to fit the screen in fullscreen mode it is off to the side and wont let me fix it. Also when I try to play in EQW it doesnt do anything after I hit patch and play. I have been playing for about 2 weeks had no problems now today all the sudden my screen is crazy and I cant fix it.
 
Some suggestions

Make your windows screen resolution (right click desktop->properties->settings the same as the Screen resolution set in EQ (alt-o). You can select I think run full screen in there somewhere as well...?

What do you mean 'it doesn't do anything'? Does the process start, ctrl-alt-delete..check the process CPU cycles, see if its doing something.

What software did you install in the last 2 weeks? Did you install anything with .NET or Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit?
