Mid-level paladin AoE aggro

As a counterpoint to the Shadowknight request thread requesting a look at high tier SKs,, I would like to request that Paladins AoE aggro get looked at for the mid-high 50's game. Since the HoT aggro was taken away, there is now no way for pallies to fulfill their AoE tanking role before 62; yet SKs get their terror line of spells starting at 34.

Unless there are arguments against, please consider making pally aoe tanking viable before the 60's

EDIT: Think about it: Paladins are supposed to be the kings of AoE aggro, yet they don't get any AoE spells before 62 allowing them to generate this aggro (61 for undead). Not only this, but pre-62 I think that a Shadowknight could potentially AE tank better than a paladin, for the reason that their Terror line of spells generate more hate than blinds and stuns. This WOULD be a drain on mana, but the point is moot since Paladins have to burn through their mana to keep aggro anyway.

Again, this post is requesting that pre-62 AoE aggro be looked at. Arguments like "AoE aggro @ 65 is where it's at" and "Shadowknights have their problems too" and "You don't spend much time before 62 anyway" and "You don't AoE tank much at lower levels" are not legitimate arguments, mainly because the low-mid-pre62 game is as important as the game 65 and onwards. Not everyone is a high-geared guildie, and what's more is not everyone makes it to 62+.

Fearless/Unmezzable stance is not what defines the Paladin; innate crits and group cleansings should not be what makes a Paladin desirable pre-62. Heals are great, but not when a Paladin has to focus attention on blinding/stunning multiple targets without the use of AE.

Please give Paladins a class-defining role pre-62.
