I think at least one person (hey, I complained about this) that ointments aren't readily available for tailoring.. and I remember on EQLive, merchants would keep items that players had sold to them, that works GREAT with tradeskills, you don't have to farm for hours to get stuff, because you might be able to find it on a merchant somewhere.. something that would be normally worthless to a newbie who doesn't know tradeskills, like bear and wolf pelts, or like I bought on EQLive, meats.. that might help the game economy a bit, people can buy player-crafted (or looted, like armor) goods that would normally be gone forever.
i'd also like to see faction+cha play a role on merchants, changing prices if you're famous, hated, or just look pretty (or ugly).. maybe set up factioned merchants in cities, next to the docks, so that different races can shop with people who are friendly to them.. if the idea above was added, that would help a lot too.. High elves would sell to the High Elf, and other High Elves would get a better deal
I guess I can't ask you to do the impossible, not sure if that would take too much memory or bandwidth or work or something, but in my opinion it'd be pretty cool.. i'd like to hear other people's opinions too, though please, no flaming me if you don't like my ideas!
