Mapping Velious problem

When I am doing the mapping Velious quest and trying to map the Great Divide I walk near the areas the wiki and "Jildo's Notebook" tell me to and no text comes up saying I have scouted the area.

There is one of those points that doesnt respond well. I went to one of the spots and searched for about 10 mins and then went afk in that spot for about 20 mins and when i came back I had the message that I had explored the area.
