As per the sticky above, you should be pretty much set if you install Titanium, and apply the manual patch if you do not use the autopatcher. However there is 2 issues that will confuse people, particularly if they are newer.
First of all in the current download, the directory structure is messed up. At most people will be expecting to unzip it to their EQ directory, but when it was packed, it still has a Linux directory structure and unpacks to /var/www/patcher2/whatever so the files do not go in the right place unless you notice eventually and move them.
Also, you can not create a character I think due to the UI files character creation bug. Inside the current manual patch archive, the "uifles" folder is empty, and when you create a char the client crashes. At least this sounds like an old UI bug from back in WR times that I found here on the forum.
