Making SoD DvD's need some help

I was wondering if anyone could help figure this out.

So basicly I have lazy friends who I really want to play, but they are too lazy to setup everything. So to make it more appealing I am going to create a dvd with all the files needed.

I also wanted to edit the UI ahead of time so that when they create a char, they could just maybe rename my char profile to there charactors name, and have a UI that is decently setup, with resolution and window placements. So is there a way to do that to make it as simple as possible for some of my noob friends?
 
I remember trying to copy one of my my char's profiles (Which was setup how I like it) and then renaming it my new char's name once and it did not change the UI at all, so I was wondering if this is possible.


Edit: Maybe I could create a Batch file or something to perform this. I should be able to make it copy a file then change the copy to X char name. But I am not sure how to write the line to ask the user "Enter New Char Name? " and make it work.
 
defaults.ini

copy your ui_charactername.ini into that and all new characters played will start with that UI setup

I could be wrong, but give it a try.

I guess I was thinking to hard into it. That sounds like it should work. I will check tonight.
