Make poison

Dalayan Beginner
I have had an extended vacation, but when I last played regularly (December 2009 maybe? on and off minimally since then) I for some reason thought it would be fun to skill up make poison on my rogue. He is at about 147 skill. My recollection is that there was a change of poisons from being a buff to something else, but I do not know if that ever actually happened (the thread on it was not too clear)... is the mechanic different now? Also, is the wiki still accurate that the skill limit is 150, and no more has been implemented, or is there more out there now?

Just looking to get up to date on how poisons work now, because I do not remember exactly where they were at when I left off, and the Balancing forum thread does not really say if the change was implemented or anything.

Now if only I can figure out the trap system...

Edit: Can this be moved to SoD discussion? I didn't realize I was in the wrong forum when I posted this... Sorry!

Poisons equip in your ammo slot. They are charges for a buff that adds a proc to your attacks (main only I think). The skill is capped at 150. There was going to be a "part 2" that would take you past 150 with advanced poisons, but that seemed to fall by the wayside.

The trap system is quite different. There are now 'trap trainers' across Dalaya in the rogue guilds. It costs monies to unlock the different types of traps. Get a trap kit and talk to the 'a trap' that it creates. I'm pretty sure one of the Thurgadin Rogue quests is for a trap kit, so be sure to get that if you haven't already.
