Make 61-65 worth it for all melee.. of all guilds..

Basically.. as a rogue, and judging my position.. it is amost completely useless for me to level to 61-65..

Basically there are only 3 incentives: Hp boost, stat boost, aa (when they are in).

Now, I'll admit that rogue hp boost upon level might be broken, but I didn't recieve any HP upgrade when I hit 61. If I DID, it was around 5-20hp.. Could you possibly post an exact amount increase I should have gotten at lvl 61? If it DOES only give around 25hp.. grinding for hours, and missing out on 4-5 AA is hardly worth ~25hp.

And then, we get the stat limit boost. I have probably the best gear one could get from single group/2 group raids.. and even some gear from large scale raids. If I load up on stat gear, I can get to 260 dex, with buffs. But I lose a lot of HP/AC. Basically, at lvl 65, the only way Im going to reap the benefits of these stat limits is if I have uber raid quality gear (or get the stat AA's, but then I'd have to work AA exp instead of level exp).. and basically GoTW has the monopoly on the uber gear. And judging by the server numbers lately.. it's going to take a long time before any other guild gets the power to raid these uber mobs again.

Finally, the PoP AA's.. Now keep in mind, I'm not totally up to date on PoP AA's, as I quit live way before PoP. But are any of these really THAT useful unless the person already has 300-400 AA's, and most areas maxed?

Now before all you GM's get all pissy, and start screaming "gimp this, noob that".. Keep in mind, I'm not really bitching about anything. If that's the way it's going to stay.. so be it. Ill just max my AA's first. But if there is any chance to get some more bonuses for melee.. might as well try.

I could have purchased atleast 2 powerful pop aa's a good 10+ aa points ago if they were implemented at the time and I am currently only at 55AA.

I agree, melee's don't have as much to look forward to, yet, from 61-65 as magic classes do. But casters still have this little problem called rare spell drops which seem to be getting more and more rare every passing day. Highest I have seen is a 63 mage pet spell, which I luckily bagged, and have seen nothing higher than L62 drop on single groupable mobs. Where 64 and 65 spells are is anyones guess, hopefully not on uber raid type mobs.

Here is a link to explain some of the PoP abilities that rogues get. Granted The levels themselves do not give much bonus, However they will allow you to unlock the new AAs.

Casters always had more to look forward than melees. That's why disciplines were introduced (didn't work out too well, but it was a try).
So, how about new combat styles at 61,63 and 65?

61-65 will become more viable for melee when styles are reworked.

Additionally, the POP Abilities (not the POP General AA) will not be implemented in their current state, or they would already be.

As for benefits, I'm pretty happy about the stat and HP increases, but yes, the highest levels only really benefit players in the high end game, with high end gear.

61-65 weren't intended to make a huge general difference for everyone. If you want to be the BEST, getting 65 is definitely something to strive for, but it's just an alternative to AAing, which you will also need to be the best.

Aggro

Also remember that if you ever pull, higher levels are a must. The higher the level you are the lower your aggro radius, the easier it is to pull.
