Main Quest Problem

I've completed this on my main and now I'm doing this on my alt.. for some reason she is stuck. I remember doing part of the quest before I took time off from sod. She has the gemstone of history

Ive hailed Seeker Tresaria and she will not respond.

I have the (an old letter) and (a tattered diary). I gave them both to Seeker Tresaria and nothing happens.

I went and spoke with Priestess Andrenia she says nothing. I have the 2 vials of corrupted blood and gave it to her as a stack and gave them to her 1 in a box and 1 in the 2nd box... nothing happend.

I went to talk to Mazik Windweaverat, A gnoll priestess, and Helleron of the Plains and they say nothing.

I went to speak with Kril and he well say nothing, I have the holy water but not the holy symbol. Healer Crachek wont say anything even though I am indifferent to him.

I have also given my gemstone of history to Seeker Tresaria and she just gives it back.

so this is how the quest is stuck and I cannot determine what to do next. my druid is Vayas

Sounds like you skipped ahead and are missing a flag. You cant simply waltz up to seeker tresaria and start talking to her expecting to have everything work out if you havent received the quest dialogue about being sent to her.
 
Well since she has the gemstone of history I know im at the end of part 2 and sod wiki says all i need to do is hail Seeker Tresaria after i turn in gemstone of learning to Tresaria to start part 3....


Also i do not see this quest in my active or inactive journal listing

yea same problem my shm had. initiated the quest a long long time ago and then MQ was modified and I had to basically start at the first NPC and follow all the dialogue through every NPC and do some parts over again to get the correct flags. If your still stomped let me know and i'll log in and do it with you
 
wolfwalkerEci that would be nice. I went to william defar the the guy who sends me to tresaria and he said nothing so i'm going to redo the entire quest up to history to see if i missed a flag to get the gemstone of history which I already have.
 
wolfwalkerEci here is what ive done so far ... hail william defar with (The Earliest Creation and The Gods of Dalaya and mysterious summons) which of course he wont talk
i went and got the cobblestone and gave it to him and he just gives it back.

I hailed Eranos Nel'Tav and gave him the Ogre Helmet. nothing

I hailed Haley Swansong and gave her Athican Carved Trinket. nothing

I hailed Bram McTurnanand gave him Broken Iksar Spear. Nothing i went back to hail them all after i gave them the items like supposed to and they still say nothing about going to defar.

i went back and hailed Defar and then tresaria. nothing

back to william...nothing again then went to talk to the 8ppl for history

Trainer Bindle----Historian Allen------Theron Praknat....after learning all their histories i went back to Defar he said.......nothing then went to tresaria with the books (A Look at Racial Histories, Life Before Kaezul), and she says nothing....... So that should be all the flags preceding the beginning of the gemstone of insight.

No, actually that was a different part. I didn't yet receive the Gemstone of History.

However, I just completed this part on some other toons, and it appears very buggy. After getting the "talk to 3 of 5 people" sidequest and the "go talk to Kril" quest, I went and did both. I came back to her and she would only talk about the subquest part. After defeating her elemental, she wouldn't give any prompts when hailed.

I finally just handed her my Gemstone of History, and she started the next part, giving me the Gemstone of Insight.

Also on the subquest part, there was an elemental up when we arrived. Hailing her and going through the quest text, she said the other was up and she couldn't spawn a new one now. That's fine. However, after the other was killed and quest completed, she no longer responded to hails. I had to type out "I am not afraid of your elemental" to get it started.

It seems to be a problem of not giving the appropriate prompts for all the current threads of quest you have open with her.
 
ahh ok yah my wife had a similar problem after she defeated the elemental. i havent had any problems from the main quest so far yet.

Maybe the quest npc's just randomly pick who they want to pick on lmao:dance:
 
ya thats the only thing she let me do when i came back from my break was the elemental sidequest other then that i get no text options and if i try to give her my gemstone of history she just gives it right back to me.
