Hi. My name is Torid (65 warrior) in game and i'm currently trying to start my Main Quest. Earlier today i walked to the Eye of dreams hailed it and nothing happened. I was having issues with the forums and a guide happened to over hear my problem and summonded me into the Dream. I then began to follow teh quest hailing the first npc at the gate following it's dialogue then continued on.. everything was fine until the end after i completed the last trial. When i arrived at the end where the 1st 2nd 3rd and the last are i could not speak to any of them other than the last. when i approached the others it said please go on and retrace your steps etc. So that i did. i ran allt he way back to the last npc i found which was my last trial. When i hailed him it said "You have completed my trial please seek out the 1st 2nd 3rd and the last" etc. so i ran back and tried to hail them all.. the only one that worked was the last. Which had the 2 replied I understand or i make my own decisions. i did I understand it booted me back to Souther Newport with no books or mysterious summons to continue on in my Main quest. Any help would be appreciated and i hope this is enough information to get you close to the problem. My character was also made on December 27th 2005. About a year ago i had teh same problem with my Rogue Valeroth and I believe a Dev flagged him had me log out then back in. He had me try to hail the eye again and boom i zoned in and the rest of teh quest worked fine for as far as i got him. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for you time as i know most of you Volunteer it!

Talking to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd will normally net you a garbage tunic, a couple garbage weapons, a torch and a bag, basically some newbie gear to help you start out. You don't need any of that, so I don't think there is a problem with you not having spoken to those 3. After speaking to the Last, you will normally be ported to your starting city and there you will normally find that the books and summons were added to your inv, the Last is the trigger for those, and that is apparently what you are stuck on. The books can be bought in Erudin Library from an NPC, and as for the summons, you have some choices.
Assuming that the Last did flag you for the summons, but didn't give it to you, you can go to the guy you would have been summoned to.
1) Roll a human warrior alt and run through the dream, whomever his summons tells him to go to, take Torid to that guy.
2) Ask any other human warriors who they went to (lower level people will probably know, higher level people will probably have forgotten).
3)Check the wiki for the MQ and see where the 4 summons people are, and talk to each and every one until you find the right one.
These suggestions may have been formed on a faulty premise (you werent flagged by the Last) in which case the staff will have to help you. But, if you feel like trying some things on your own before asking staff for help, or while waiting for them to have the time to help, than the above suggestions are worth trying
