Does anyone know the 49+ magician pet levels?
I was able to determine that the level 49 spells produce level 44 pets. The level 51 earth summoning produces a pet that is yellow to 46 and blue to 51, so somewhere in the 48-50 range.
I ask because I recently dinged 51 and was faced with a choice about which pet to use for DPS. All my pets were level 49 spells except for the earth pet, which was now a level 51 spell.
On the one hand, pretty much every type of pet is meant to be better DPS than earth, and furthermore the root is sometimes considered a nuisance in groups.
On the other hand, if the earth pet were a few levels higher, than it might be desirable DPS-wise over a lower level pet of another element.
I realize this question might be mostly academic and that the choice in groups will often come down to slow, stun or root, but it interests me nevertheless.
