Magebane and Ytraz

I've been told that the Ytraz is a 120 HP DD and 120 mana sieve (the proc on it). The proc works on mobs that have no mana and just gives the damage portion.

Magebane, which has a 150 mana sieve on it displays (when it procs, or so I assume) a message of 150 non-melee damage has been done to the mob. Now, it only procs on casters, yet is apparently doing damage?

Now, is there anything wrong with the message or should the Magebane be procing on mobs that don't have mana, either?
 
Ytraz is a combo effect. 120dd AND 120 mana drain

Magebane is a mana-combust for 150dd meaning it drains 150mana from t he mob and converts it into 150dmg.

Magebane does not proc on mobs with no mana.
