Mage summons + Pet question

I noticed that if I give my mage pet two swords and a haste ring, when I logged back in, after they should have dissappeared I notice that the graphic is still there. Does my pet really have his items still? Or is it just showing that, so I should give him a new set? Thanks

Yes the weapons and the haste ring IS still there. If you attack with the pet, the messages should say "pet has slashed a gnoll for 28 points of damage" as compared to "pet has hit a gnoll for 28 points of damage"
