Would it be possible to change the focus effect on the Ice of Shojar. Since there are minimal (at best) oppertunities for a mage or anyone with anti-summoned spells to use said spells, it would make more sense to place a different focus on the item. I think it has Banishment Enhancement 3 or something to that effect.

I agree with this. Bane Enhancement is a wonderful addition, but I haven't really used it. There is but one set of elementals that I have found to use it on, and that is the set of 3 air elementals in the South Badlands. Even then, my pet was able to tank them easily with a damage shield and a small bit of healing. That was at level 40 to 42 for Mage. It's to the point that I skip the elemental only line of spells like I do with the point blank AoE ones since they have a short radius, at least that I seem to have found.
Since there are many more undead, it would make sense that this would be great for Necros or Clerics, but for Magicians, I can't make sense of this bonus. I love it, but haven't found a good use for it.
I'm not sure what to suggest as a change though. I'm of course in the mindset that an elemental will look like something I can summon. I'm all for Mana Conservation 2.

The problem then is not with the effect but with the spell itself. And I am not sure exactly how it works in SoD, but on live the benefit to being able to use those nukes was great.
Also, if you look at all the other effects, most of them are very class specific with strong emphasis on the classes role. Does that make any sense? Maybe not...

Well, the anti-elemental spells themselves are efficient by nature. Maybe I'm complaining about a lack of content of what they affect?
Class-specific is great if you can use it more than 5% of the time. I haven't used Track yet on a character to gather info on whatever zones. I'm hoping there is maybe something in Red Sun Peaks that I could use a spell on considering many of my nukes this level are fire-based, being a 54 Magician.
I am not so much complaining about the nukes. I am complaining that I haven't come across an obvious situation to make good use of them. The starfall quest for the Staff of the Elements partially involves finding elementals in the first place so it introduces something you can use them on. "Hunt in more places" gets said enough so the content has to be somewhere. :?
