Mage pet heals nerfed again?

I logged on earlier after todays patch and saw now that my lv 64 and lv 60 pet heals are atached to the same timer?is this intended? :( . I thought that stuff was dealed already when they increased the recast timer on individual pet heals.And the fact that its not showing on patch message made me hope sincerely its a bug :sadf: .

- The only pet heal that is on a diff timer from the 64 one is the...lv 8 heal!
 
I dunno that sounds like a bug, I'm not quite sure as I haven't played yet today but it would make no sense at all to have the lower heals on the same time as the 64 one. To do so would pretty much make them useless for lowbie mages. Were you using the 64 first then using a lower? Or just trying them seperately? Whats the recast they're on?
 
This was changed in the March 9th Patch 3 weeks ago ...

- Lowered recast on some pet heals.
- Made a number of pet heals use the same shared timer, so that you cannot simply alternate between them to get around the recast.

Yeah I knew about that one, the only thing I'm still trying to figure out is whether he used the 64 first or not, as obviously as any progger or scripter knows, theres always the possibility of bugs in the code ;) Can't check it out myself really as I don't have that one yet.

Yes i know they were changed 3 weeks ago,but they were changed for something like i cant mem 3+ heal spells to get around the recast time,it was working just fine casting the lv 64 heal and then lv 60 one because they were on diff recast timers,now since the patch earlier i cannot cast lv 64 and then lv 60,its one or another.And the only one that still allow to be casted after lv 64 heal is the lv 8 one.
 
Don't think this is a, "nerfed again," scenario, more of a, "nerfed finally," scenario, because I didn't notice any change to pet heals during the last patch that mentioned pet heal changes.

This doesn't change my most common play strategy while solo and it doesn't change my normal approach to grouping. The only thing it really changes is that I can't have my pet act as an emergency off-tank with the same effectiveness as I could pre-patch. Now my pet will require more attention from the group healer to stay up during off-tanking.

The only level 63 pet I have is my fire pet and I do not have Til's Elemental Recomposition, so if I can handle these changes (both Transon's heal spells on the same timer) I'm sure mages with more complete spellbooks can do the same.
 
I wouldn't even consider it a "nerf" I would call it a class balance adjustment. I'm a mage ... honestly ... it was insane to be able to chain heal all your heals. It does balance it out some and creates other strategies. Love it, hate it, it is what it is, and technically it hasn't even changed my gameplay as most times I only ever had my best pet heal up as it was, unless I was soloing, which I hardly do, unless I'm bored out of my mind and can't find a group.
 
i was ok with the first implementation of it,big recast timer made it more challenging to kill stuff,required new strategy over just plain chain healing.I would just like to know if todays change was a implementation or a bug,thats all.
