MAGE AA: Elemental Mastery

Question==> The Mage AA Called Elemental Mastery states the following ==>
Will allow your pet to gain the full advantage from AA abilities that affect your ability to hit and be hit in combat, as well as score critical blasts with spells.

Would the ability to score critical blasts with spells be applicable in the case of a Fire pet using it's nuke every few rounds ? I ask this because im not sure if the fire pet nuke is a spell or ability of the pet. No matter what it happens to be..... would the crit spell bonus from Elemental Mastery affect the Fire pet or any other mage pet for that matter ?

I do believe that it affects pet nukes/abilities.

It affects the pet procs and makes them crit.

It only affects the fire pet proc or at least that is how it was when I was last playing my mage.

Let other pets crit as well, at least last I had checked. It doesn't happen often. They will also crit rbow.
