NOTICE: KEEP IN MIND THAT THESE ARE THE LUCLIN MODELS--IF YOU TURN NEW MODELS OFF, THIS DOES NOT AFFECT YOU IN ANY WAY.

So here's what I propose we do. I had Nasadael rework the female dark elf leather textures until he came up with a look we were both satisfied with. Below are a few screenshots of the results. We're not finished figuring out what to do with the boots yet and yes, I am aware that the thumbs are brown--we'll fix that.

That model looks really good. I don't know what the current looks like but these definately look good.

* Edit to add * - Yes, it is revealing on the back (agree with Mal below) - personally, it doesnt phase me either way (since I don't play the model, I am a male (pig!!!), and I don't group (or at least havent yet)).
 
I like the style of the leather armor - but it's a little to exposing for my taste - at least on the back and the ass. It's supposed to be some protection, after all :)

Didn't vote because this looks better than the old models for sure, but I don't think this is perfect either. Looks a little like a domina to me *g*

Tune it a little and it's perfect ;)

lol...that is just blatantly pornographical. if my wife saw me playing that game I'd loose my account quicker than...well...a lot of stuff.

It's a vast improvement over the original leather model. My DEf Serena will be very happy to not have to look like she's wearing a saggy diaper anymore. :lol:

What's the eta on this fix, and will it auto-download through the patcher or will we need to access the file-section on the website to download the new textures?

Are those Lineage Dark-Elves supposed to look like ashen oompa loompas or is it just a distorted image?
 
Wow. I don't know what to say besides, it's very revealing and her wearing leather holding a whip makes it even scarier. D:
 
It's sexist and objectifies women. That having been said... DUH! It may be really revealing, but I don't think any amount of clothing is going to properly cover the DDDDDDD size breasts on every female model in the game. At least these models are a little bit more stylish, and it still doesn't compare to my female erudite, who wears a see-through dress, in terms of revealingness.

A+ work! Would it be possible to get more textures like this for all the different characters? Maybe even apply brand new graphics to specific armors?
 
Haha yeah. That was a good move by 989 studios to give all the females large jugs. With the mostly male following in the game it can do nothing but help foster their addiction while selling loot to a stacked lady.

There's no ETA--Wiz asked me to post this topic here to see if people wanted the change or not. It can be auto-downloaded through the patcher once it is complete and if enough people like it.

If we do update these files but there are still those of you who prefer the older model, I can help you set it up so you don't have to see the change.

As it stands, there are a limited number of textures that can be used--we're replacing the old texture, not adding a new one. I'm not exactly sure about how all the details work--again, it was Nasadael who made these, I merely made the suggestion. New textures are possible but only to replace other ones, I believe.
 
I think visually it is significantly nicer then what we have, but, if it goes in it should be optional, for some of the reasons noted above.
 
I like the new look. A bit too revealing for my taste but then again what female model isn't revealing?
 
I think this is obviously a lot better... but I don't use Luclin models because they're all ugly. And it's not really any worse than the classic DE leather models where the ass is completely exposed... not sure how the Luclin models look from the back, because I don't use them.
 
Question: Would the pixellation and blurriness on those yellow straps be fixed by the time you guys released this as a final version?
