Low Lvl Quests

My ranger is currently lvl 10 and having problems killing things due to lack of equipment. Just wondering if anyone could recommend some quests for me to do. No one in the ranger guild gave out any and the one I'm currently doing is collecting the 4 totems from the kobold leaders.
 
Weapon or armor quests really. I'm using a longsword and have like 2 pieces of cloth at lvl 10, it;s hard to kill anything really.
 
Kill the kobolds in mistwoods, they drop all kinds of weapons and a few gems. If you can't use any of the items, sell them. The items sell pretty well for low level. Then upgrade to some leather armor with your sales. Then, when you get to warrens (which should be pretty soon, around lvl 10), kill THOSE kobolds. They drop soft leather (caster eq, mainly) and chainmail armor (yay for you!) as well as weapons and such. If you get multiples of the same pieces of chainmail, don't drop it...sell it!. Chainmail sells for about 2-4pp a piece. As a ranger, you should have enough str to carry a bit of it around before selling. If not, ask your friendly neighborhood buffer for a str buff (money is great motivation, if they don't want to give you one :p)

As far as quests, try hailing your guildmaster. The guild masters, or people in the guild, usually give a newbie quest. The druid has one at the mistwoods druid ring that, as a ranger, you might be able to do. Dunno the reward for it though. Also, collect the ancient molds that drop, as well as metal sheets and things like that (dunno the exact ingredients needed per armor) and then see if a friendly neighborhood druid will port you to wyvernfang. you turn those in there for various quest armors (i've never done it, so i don't know the stats and such). Those molds drop more off higher mobs though, so not much of a low lvl quest. Basically, try hailing any NPC you meet. You'll find some sort of quest. :) Happy Hunting.

Note* This is by no means a definitive list of quests that are implemented, this is only what I have come across..I am sure there are many others available.

The ranger guildmaster (in erudin) doesn't seem to offer a ranger specific quest. :( (that I know of).

Not sure all quests are accessible for specific classes....

I haven't completed too many quests..


Completed:

Warrior Tunic Quest (Talk to warrior trainer in Erudin)

Druid Amulet Quest (Talk to druid at circle in mistwoods)

Shark Hunt Quest (talk to Erudin Defender at the Docks) (the blood pearl from this quest is used to start the Bloodletter Quest)

Erudin Symbol of Honor Quest (talk to Capt. Utvoz in Erudin, and collect the four idols dropped from Warrens Kobolds) (This EQ you can use as a Ranger, and is well worth the effort).

Bloodletter Quest (Give the blood pearl from the Shark Quest to Umma Stormhammer (sp?) at the Erudin Armory, to start this quest)

Doll Quest (Talk to the distraught woman in a house in Mistwoods)

Boots Quest (talk to the Gnome in a house in Mistwoods)

Potions Quest (talk to Vetiar the magnificent in Erudin)

Research Quest (talk to Anastaisa in Valley of Erimal just outside of Warrens)

?? Quest (talk to Grabslosh The Festering in Valley of Erimal)

There are many others..I believe a cleric quest is offered by Priest Jezen (sp?) in Erudin..Also most of the Trainers in Erudin (and I assume Thurgadin...turning in Dwarf Heads is one I've heard of) offer quests..

There is also The Twilight Sea (In the Froglock Fort and in Taldor Malath I have seen quite a few quests, but haven't started them yet so I'm not sure if they are high lvl or low lvl..)

Just try and Hail every NPC you come across, and keep track of what you need to do/collect for each one as you lvl up...
