Low Level Adepts?

Been playing only a couple of days, but does anyone ever group up for them? I was browsing the wiki and saw Grikk the Reborn, but there are not many people of that lvl on most of the time.

Do I need a full group of people? Or just a few?

Also, should I try to be right at the lvl cap? Or is it okay to be a lvl or two under?

Use OOC to get a group together. A lot of players have alts and some even have alts specifically for adepts. Just because there aren't many people on in the level range doesn't mean there can't be in a few minutes.

Most adepts require a full group, some require more. The wiki has some really great grouping suggestions for the adepts. I've never done Grikk, so I can't speak from personal experience on him.

As for level, a few levels under is fine. I wouldn't go more than 5 levels below engage for the lower level ones though since there is a lot of difference between a level 4 and a level 9, while not as much between a level 50 and a 57 (for Traek or Pounders).

The 1-12 adepts can be duo'd by decently geared lowbies if you have a tank and a healer, not super twinked out, but ones who've put some effort into their gear. Even poorly geared, you should be able to bring down with 3 people. Starting at Angar (14) it starts being rather beneficial to bring at least a full group and will be a lot easier if you partially fill a second group too.

If you scout out that the mob is up and advertise in /gu and /ooc with the adept mob name and max level for engage, you usually won't have to spend more than 20-30 mins to get enough people for the low level ones.

Don't be super stingy with the level ranges either. Don't advertise looking for people 10-12 for Adept Mist Stalker, bring 7-12th level people. Utility and heals, in particular, you can get away with a lot lower level than you can on the tank and dps. Make some friends while you're out there and don't forget to be fair with loot. If you're organizing it you'll be somewhat expected to handle loot distribution.

As for yourself, depending on what class you are it will be a lot easier if you're 0 to 2 levels below the max engage rather than far below. Again from the perspective of if you're organizing it, people may have higher expectations from you. A level 7 organizing a level 12 adept raid may find more difficulty in getting folks to go than a level 12 will. That being said, it doesn't hurt to check. I've personally got a fair number of lowbies for messing around on, and always join adept groups with what I've got in range, regardless of whether I'm interested in anything from them.

i was surprised by angarr and wind hag when i was running up the adept tree... fleshflower was also an unpleasant surprise and then once you get up to snowskin that dog is MEAN.

but yes there are frequent adept groups just hit up ooc (as was stated).

Beetle Queen, Mist Staller, and Angar die on a regular basis. Flitterwing is a common one seen also. Wind hag is a fun fight, too bad I leveled up to 26 off one of the elementals, or else she would have died. I leveled right past fleshflower, forgot about it actually. :(
I have led many, many, many Snowskin raids. He is quite mean, and hits like a mack truck pulling a triple trailer.

Besides asking in OOC and the Db guild, it helps to do a / all in the level range you want, and ask people directly. Some people just miss the chat, or turn chat off.

Thanks for the info guys. I was able to do Angar with some people and got some sweet gloves, it seems that Flitterwing doesn't particularly drop much I want though so I'm thinking I will skip him =).
