Dalayan Beginner
Hi all. I played sod for a short time years ago. I quit cause I got a new job that took all my time. I got a new one now that allows for family and gaming and I remember having fun on this server. I do have a question tho.
I recently started a bard/druid combo. They are 12/12 or 13/12 and I'm having trouble grinding. I currently have them in fearstone and can only kill the entrance mobs which yeild about 55-78xp per kill and when I try western badlands (wkarana???) I get spiders that I cannot kite nor can I find a safe spot to park the druid. Where would be a good place to go. Bard has sword of the learner 2/8 and full leather. Druid full leather as well.
Thank you in advance.

Also yes I looked in the wiki but not really that helpful and the leveling guides and such are all way old.

There is a guild called vintage which is going through the game starting at tier 1 (fresh lv 65) I would imagine they would be down to have you with them.

Also my son wants to play. He is 5 how would I go about opening a 3rd account for him to play on. I don't wanna get banned before I get going.

So long as there is always enough humans for the amount of characters on it will not be a problem. My roommate and I play four characters at one time (two each obviously) and we have never had an issue.

They might have you run in a figure 8 on two characters at the same time but that test should be easy to pass if you truly have enough humans there, or a very smart dog.

which yeild about 55-78xp per kill

That seems reaally low. Are these green con mobs?? Splitting xp with 6 toons in adventure band?? Or getting some kind of assistance penalty??

Some places you should check out at your level: The Cesspits, The Warrens, Southern Wastes of Tarhyl (orcs)

I was told ig to stay away from cesspits till 20..... No they are db. The casters are about 450-500xp but hit or miss the bard lives. Anything white+ I stay away from

Whoever told you to stay away from Cesspits till 20 is full of it. You should have no problem doing a bunch of the entry stuff at your level (most pulls are single if you're careful).

Another thing you might want to look at doing is these. They are decent armor and usually people are willing to give away the parts. If you are interested send me a tell in game some time and i can send you parts, its not fantastic armor but its pretty grand for starting characters and usually people will "sell" the parts for 1 plat each. I can also port you over to the turn in.

vintage will accept cool nerds who wish to slay dragons. you dont have to be level 65.
