log on issues

Hi, anyone else having problems connecting to the server tonight?

We have been trying to get on for an hour or so tonight. It looked like there might have been a patch..
we can get past logon screen to server select.
Clicking play we get an error 1017: Cannot login to the EQ server, yadda yadda..
So we are not even making it to Character Select screen...

We have tried clicking the patch all option and it checks all the files, but still no joy...

Running XP and windows 8.. not having any other internet issues that we can see..

Any Ideas?

I had to try several times earlier, maybe a just a temporary login server hiccup. Were you able to get in since?
 
no, we just did another reboot and still having the issues.. was seeing a lot of people logged onto the server, so I know people were getting on.. Will keep trying things..
