yes that looks better now good job sorry for sounding so critical in my last post.

if you could find a good screenshot of Kaezul (Venril Sathir) and photoshop it up and put it in the center it'd probably look better than the random darkelf.

<hikage> It may be an issue with widescreen resolutions? I don't remember having this problem when I played in 1600x1200, but I can't be certain.

Can someone post a screenshot of a malfunctioning loading screen? Mine appears to be working correctly.
 
as a side note my loadscreen has been broken like this since the dawn of time. the current one, not the one you're trying to change to.
 
To add more useful information to the pile, mine was screwed up on the very old loading screen and was fixed when the more recent one came out. And of course the newest ones are screwed up.
 
This may or may not help in the hunt to find a cause for the screwed up loading screen, but...

The load screen on my desktop has been skewed from day 1.
I just acquired a laptop, and copied the SoD folder, AS IS, onto the laptop, and the load screen is perfect. Not a single change between the files during the copy.

Perhaps it is a video card issue, as my computers use 2 very different video set-ups. (card in the desktop, f*^&%ing hard-wired chip in the laptop)
 
The loading screen is screwed up for me too, and has been since I started playing a year or so ago. I've changed from a 8800gt to a 9800gt and had the same issue; widescreen didn't seem to matter.
