When I try to load a 2nd SoD window on my comptuer I receive this error message:

"********* cannot load the zone file \"load2_obj.s3d\" in the directory that you are currently running ********* from. The file is present but it may be corrupt. \n\nPlease either install or delete and re-patch this file. \n\nFor assistance with this problem, please call........."

Computer: HP Pavilion a1520y
Video Card: ATI Radeon X1300

Recent actions: Previous had been unable to even get to character select on a 2nd window(would crash without an error message) so I installed the newest driver from ATI. Now I get this error message.

Does someone know what that file is, and have any advice on what steps I should take.

Are you using a UNC path?

Yah yah, old post, but I think I found a fix for anyone else who may encounter this:

I got this error when trying to run EQW and giving it a UNC path to the eqgame.exe file (i.e.: \\pcname\sod\eqgame.exe). By reverting to a "normal" driver letter the issue magically vanished.
