load [0 warrior] the eternal well

So I haven't played SoD in about a year i just now got it reinstalled.

I've been trying to log into my two accounts. I get to server selection fine, and then the character selection shows up.

all that shows up is a human male named load [0 Warrior] in the Eternal Well. There's also no ui in this screen so i couldn't make a new character if i wanted to.

any suggestions? i'll try some other stuff out. I know other people have had this problem, but I can't seem to find any solutions to it.
