ListSold Error... DM Gloves became DM Boots :(

Like the title says...

I purchased DM gloves from a listsold (double checking everything before)
then look in my inventory to see.. not gloves... but boots.

It wouldn't be nearly as big a deal if I could use the boots... but there a downgrade for me.

Went back check again.. did I hit the wrong number? Nope.. right number.. says Gloves.. but got boots.

The Auctioner said its happened before and to petition it. (lucky me, I seem to play when ever GMs are not online)

Well anyways.. anyone else have this issue before?
 
i think there need to be a command to reset your listsold, after you change stuff and prices

sucks that happens, awhile back i bought a pair of charred boots that showed up to me for 1800
but it took 2000, after that i make sure i have only enough to cover what i want
 
A reset command might help if its truely listed wrong.

In this case the auctioner made it sound like a bug. (giving boots instead of gloves)

Before I go and waste time petitioning.. is this something a GM can really help with? (switching the boots for gloves) or is it something I have to take up witht he auctioner (that really has no liability if it was the system screwing up, even if it was something as simple as messed up labels)

Some imput would be helpful from a GM/Staff.
 
yeah this seems to be happening a bit, someone tries to buy something that has already been bought and it buys a different item
 
Petition again, you logged off in front of my eyes, just as I zoned to you yesterday.
 
This happens when you restock your listsold sometimes, I've double checked my own listsold after selling items, crafting new...

/cm listadd new description *sometimes* fixes it, after a while, but there's still the bug with things showing up that were sold, delay on items added.

Yes, I know the message takes a few minutes, but the other day, it was a couple hours after I put augs on my alt, and they still hadn't shown up when you did /cm listsold. And I did /cm listadd when I put the new augs (since higher ones) on her.

If there was a reset affixed to the /cm listadd, or anything, would be awesome.
 
a /cm listupdate that refreshes everything in your listsold.

Or if when you buy something this happens..

45 DM boots 2000

/cm listbuy Uberfarmer 45
You are requesting to buy #45 DM boots, for 2000pp? procced with buy?
/cm listaccept or /cm listreject

Not sure if this kind of thing woudl help (or even work), just taking a guess that prehaps if the system had a check that it might look back at the item on listsold and prehaps be able to catch if a item is being miss labeled on the listsold before the buyer hits buy.
