Listsold bugged

I know this has been discussed before in other threads, but I just noticed something strange that might possibly help track down the stale listsold problem.

Yesterday I listsold someone from Athica, then proceeded to try to buy something from them and it said they were not selling any item of that #. I then zoned to the house, listsold them again, and that number was gone. Zone back to athica, listsold, and it's back!

Today I find that it's exactly the same as yesterday. Listsold from athica shows the same item that is not available for sale, whereas from the house it does not appear.

So somehow the stale listsold bug appears to be zone specific?!?!?!

hmm maybe its just a differance between citys and the house. I use the banks in 2 or 4 different cities over the course of a night gaming and listsold shows the same stale information at every location.
Havnt played with the house other then to enter it / leave it so not sure how the listsold works there

The listing system lags in the sewer. If I am down there and someone adds a new item, it often isn't shown unless I zone up to newport.

Best thing you can do is tell them to get their Athica neck and meet you there. You get more money and it's safe. Also you can see them and make sure you aren't selling gnomish fireworks to a little halfling

I gotta admit I don't care for the listsold system. If you know what you're looking for, it's fine, I guess, but I don't know the names of most stuff I need, so I'm running around with soft leather still. I'd LIKE to buy stuff, but I don't have the 12 hours necessary to find stuff on listsold.
